First time trying tofu kaiseki and I must say that it was a great experience -though lighter palate, the dishes were tasty. We were surprised and delighted with how the dishes tasted.

What an enjoyable meal! My family and I love tofu and since living in Switzerland for the last 9 years, we don’t have the widest options tofu wise so we are truly in heaven when we got to experience a tofu kaiseki meal. Excellent food, superb service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We truly recommend it to all tofu lovers.

Very lucky to get a table because we didn't make a reservation. It was such a wonderful experience as each dish was a surprise. Delicately plated and who knew tofu could come in so many different forms?

Unique experience with a set menu consisting various dishes made of tofu, mainly steamed and fried. The setting is very authentic in a quite area.

Best tofu experience!! Every dish in the menu curated beautifully with the perfect pairings. Soy beans were prepared uniquely in each dish and was definitely outstanding. Each dish had the right amount of umami and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The highlights were definitely the shiitake mushrooms and fresh sashimi. Worth the visit!

We came after checking out reviews for tofu restaurant in kyoto. It was a nice experience tasting various types of tofu. Not the best tasting dishes but for the price point it’s worth a try. Would recommend 🫰🏻

I recently had the pleasure of having a kaiseki dinner at ‚Tousuiro Kiyamachi’ and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, each dish is a true work of culinary art. Each course is beautifully presented and expertly prepared, showcasing a variety of flavors and textures. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite. The vegetarian sashimi was on point. Great tempura as well, with a perfectly light and crunchy batter. The miso soup was well balanced. The prepared dishes are equally impressive, with a delicate balance of flavors and expertly cooked rice. The service is also top notch. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, providing detailed explanations of each dish. The restaurant's atmosphere is also perfect for the occasion, with its traditional Japanese decor and laid-back vibe. I have to mention I took the vegetarian option and it was amazing.
